"Digital Now": Use federal subsidies for digitized time recording
In today's world of work and business, digital technologies and know-how determine the competitiveness and future viability of companies. The Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) supports small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with the “Digital Now - Investment Funding for SMEs” program so that medium-sized companies can exploit the economic potential of digitization. The program offers financial grants and is intended to encourage companies to invest more in digital technologies and in the qualification of their employees, for example in the acquisition of a modern time recording system, and offers completely new scope.
The spectrum of services offered is wide and ranges from discounted interest rates to grants and bonuses to strategic advice. Grants are particularly popular because they are non-repayable grants. This sometimes involves up to five-digit amounts. The specific funding goals and requirements depend on the respective program guidelines and vary from state to state.
